Job summary

Skyline is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Windsor, ON to perform preventative building maintenance and deliver excellent tenant service. The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and routine inspections in occupied and turnover units.

Requires 2+ years in HVAC, BAS, and FAS for Class A residential properties, with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs. Employer-paid benefits, ESP match, and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in HVAC equipment, BAS, and FAS in Class A residential complex.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance may be required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, push and pull, and navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting) in occupied units.
• Complete and submit accurate maintenance log and time sheet.
• Repair items in vacant/turnover units (leaky taps, faucet changes, door lock changes).
• Clean common areas (stairwells, hallways, elevators) and maintain lighting, emergency signs, and fire extinguishers.
• Keep storage and boiler rooms clean, shovel and salt walkways, manage garbage.
• Complete monthly inspections, painting and repair tasks on time.
• Perform physically demanding tasks using ladders and power tools, applying HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety knowledge.
