Job Description Summary

The Resident Services Coordinator provides excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants, and supports property staff by sharing knowledge of the property and its operations. This role also involves planning and executing resident activities to promote a high-quality living environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate resident functions and activities, including orientation, utility setup, and package delivery/reminders.
  • Create and distribute a property newsletter highlighting events, services, and advertisements.
  • Address resident issues such as disputes, maintenance requests, and other concerns, and prepare incident reports as needed.
  • Manage activity center or clubhouse rentals, including contract management and fee collection. Ensure guest suites are ready for use and provide amenities like movies, books, and games.
  • Process maintenance work orders, monitor completion, and follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction. Prepare weekly reports on maintenance activities.
  • Inspect property safety and cleanliness, and coordinate repairs with maintenance staff.

Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and data explanation.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, property management software (Yardi or One Site), and database management.
  • Mathematical skills for financial and budget reports.
  • High School diploma, GED, or relevant customer service experience.
  • Valid driver’s license for operating golf carts on property.

Travel & Physical Demands

  • Occasional travel for meetings or training.
  • Ability to work with electronic equipment and reports for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 11.4 kg with assistance.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
