Job description

A multi-branch and award-winning heavy equipment repair organization is immediately looking for a Resident Field Heavy Equipment Technician to work on-site at a Sault St Marie location.

Resident Field Heavy Equipment Mechanics will service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to a variety of construction, demolition, forestry and material handling equipment. This includes but is not limited to excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, drills, cranes, motor graders, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • At least four years heavy equipment maintenance, service, and repair experience with construction, mining, forestry, and / or agriculture equipment
  • A considered a strong asset
  • Own tools
  • Valid G drivers license and clean driving record. Must be willing to obtain a DZ drivers license (company paid)

Shifts : Days, 7 : 00am - 4 : 00pm (Monday - Friday). OT after 8.5 hours each day.

Compensation :

  • 35.00 - $45.00 / hour
  • Matching Pension after one year
  • Ongoing Paid Factory Training
  • Service Vehicle to Take Home
  • Overtime paid after 8.5 hours each day
  • Company Provided & Cleaned Uniforms
