Job summary

AgeCare in Oshawa is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary Long-Term Care residence for residents and staff. You will perform a range of housekeeping duties in dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, and corridors, ensuring orderly spaces and hygienic conditions.

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, and a minimum public-school education is required. The role is on-site with hourly pay ranging from $21.19 to $23.01, placement based on qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairwells and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors and operates floor machines.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
