Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to create clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents in our retirement communities in Ontario. You will clean suites, public areas, and support infection prevention protocols while maintaining an organized workplace.

The role requires secondary education or relevant experience, with prior housekeeping in residential or healthcare settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Secondary School education or relevant experience.
• Previous housekeeping experience, ideally in a residential or healthcare setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, and disinfect resident suites, including bedrooms, bathrooms, furniture, and kitchenettes.
• Maintain cleanliness in all common areas and offices.
• Collect and dispose of garbage safely and efficiently.
• Operate floor machines and robots.
• Keep utility and storage rooms organized, clean, and safe.
• Follow all health, safety, and infection prevention protocols.
