Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents. You will clean suites, common areas, and offices, dispose of waste, and operate cleaning equipment while following infection prevention protocols.

The role requires basic education or relevant experience, strong teamwork and communication, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to stay organized and maintain a safe work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Clean, dust, and disinfect resident suites, including bedrooms, bathrooms, furniture, and kitchenettes
• Maintain cleanliness in all common areas and offices
• Collect and dispose of garbage safely and efficiently
• Operate floor machines and robots
• Keep utility and storage rooms organized, clean, and safe
• Follow all health, safety, and infection prevention protocols

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment
• Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
