The opportunity : The Manager, Brand and Resident Experience will play an important role at the National level and be responsible for working alongside our property and corporate teams to create, manage, and drive successful property-level campaigns, experiences, and environments that bring the BGO Living brand to life. This includes events, communications, digital tools / online user experience, partnerships and sustainability initiatives. Monitoring and managing resident feedback, including online reputation and resident surveys will be an important aspect of this role.

You will join our Residential Marketing, Leasing and Resident Experience Team. You will spend up to 50% of your time with our property teams at site-level providing leadership, training and support.

What You Will Do :

Strategy and Execution

  • Lead national site-level teams in the planning and execution of brand experiences .
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, property teams, and vendors to lead and track multiple workstreams and projects at a time.
  • Facilitate post-project wrap-ups, learnings and appreciations, ensure reporting and optimizations are being actioned.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in experiential marketing, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to enhance experiences and resident

Resident Engagement

  • Shape our resident engagement strategy and execution , including education, training and onboarding where you will empower teams to provide the highest level o f resident service.
  • Lead National implementation of Resident Portal.
  • Lead resident gifting program , resident handbook, as well as other established (and new) engagement touchpoints.
  • Lead national partnership initiative, which includes identifying, establishing and strengthening relationships that translate into resident offers and benefits .
  • Brand / Property Marketing

  • Lead property-level brand and experience standards to ensure consistent property experience from coast-to-coast.
  • Involvement in property marketing initiatives, driving brand presence, lead generation and elevated customer experience.
  • Manage online reputation management tool, translating our teams’ 5-star experience into 5-star reviews.
  • Oversee national resident survey, which includes collecting, analyzing and actioning measurable results.
  • Corporate and Sustainability Initiatives

  • Oversee National team recognition award, including nominations, coordination with leadership and national communication to award teams.
  • Lead national Residential sustainability and charitable initiatives.
  • Communications

  • Write and develop messaging around various topics, including organization and company initiatives , culture programs, and announcements.
  • Find creative ways to produce and tell stories across existing channels, including resident portal, social channels, elevator screens and e-communication.
  • Be a trusted advisor on site-level communication best practices.
  • Who You Are :

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Communications, Marketing, PR, Hospitality, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience as a project manager in the following areas : marketing / events / hospitality / agency
  • Influential, with exceptional collaboration, relationship, and consultative skills
  • Strong communications skills, with a passion and knack for writing.
  • Passion for creating a strong, engaging culture and experience across our Residential portfolio.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary brand, marketing, creative teams, and diverse business stakeholders on the roll out of national campaigns. Proven experience executing national campaigns and programs, including event planning and management.
  • Ability to juggle changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude .
  • Agile and motivated to scrutinize existing methods of working using insights and data .
  • Understanding of marketing and customer experience concepts as they relate to the property management industry.
  • Experience working with Excel and Microsoft Office programs. Experience with Canva, MailChimp and high-comfort level with use of new tools and technology.
  • Police Clearance – A criminal verification check is required for employment.
