The opportunity : The Manager, Brand and Resident Experience will play an important role at the national level, working alongside our property and corporate teams to create, manage, and drive successful property-level campaigns, experiences, and environments that bring the BGO Living brand to life. Responsibilities include events, communications, digital tools/online user experience, partnerships, and sustainability initiatives. Monitoring and managing resident feedback, including online reputation and resident surveys, will be a key aspect of this role.

You will join our Residential Marketing, Leasing, and Resident Experience Team. Up to 50% of your time will be spent onsite with property teams, providing leadership, training, and support.

What You Will Do :

Strategy and Execution

  • Lead national site-level teams in planning and executing brand experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, property teams, and vendors, to manage multiple workstreams and projects.
  • Facilitate post-project reviews, share learnings, and ensure reporting and optimizations are implemented.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in experiential marketing, bringing innovative ideas to enhance resident experiences.

Resident Engagement

  • Develop and implement resident engagement strategies, including education, training, and onboarding, empowering teams to deliver exceptional resident service.
  • Lead the national implementation of the Resident Portal.
  • Manage resident gifting programs, resident handbooks, and other engagement touchpoints.
  • Oversee national partnership initiatives to establish and strengthen relationships that offer resident benefits.

Brand / Property Marketing

  • Ensure property-level brand and experience standards are maintained coast-to-coast.
  • Participate in property marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence, generate leads, and improve customer experience.

Reputation Management

  • Manage online reputation tools to translate positive resident experiences into reviews.
  • Oversee the national resident survey, analyzing results and implementing actions based on feedback.

Corporate and Sustainability Initiatives

  • Coordinate the national team recognition awards, including nominations and communication.
  • Lead national sustainability and charitable initiatives within residential properties.

Communications

  • Create messaging for various topics, including company initiatives, culture, and announcements.
  • Develop creative storytelling across channels such as resident portals, social media, elevator screens, and e-communications.
  • Advise on site-level communication best practices.

Who You Are :

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, PR, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of project management experience in marketing, events, hospitality, or agency settings.
  • Influential with excellent collaboration and relationship skills.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Passionate about creating engaging resident experiences across portfolios.
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary brand and marketing teams, executing national campaigns and events.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude.
  • Data-driven and innovative in work methods.
  • Knowledge of marketing and customer experience concepts relevant to property management.
  • Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Office, Canva, MailChimp, and comfortable with new technologies.
  • Police Clearance required.
