Resident Engineer (Roads, Infra & Community Development)

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is seeking a talented Resident Engineer to manage the Construction Supervision of Roads and Infrastructure Projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage engineering scope, schedules, change management, and project closeout. Monitor progress to meet schedule and budget; document scope changes.
• Coordinate with Authorities and Agencies for approvals and project handover.
• Interface with Contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with the contract and deliverables.
• Review work to ensure adherence to codes, standards, procedures, and quality.
• Review and approve change orders; notify management of changes.
• Manage client expectations and provide periodic progress updates.
• Liaise with Authorities for smooth project execution and handover.
• Ensure Parsons' rights and obligations are fulfilled.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure, roads, utilities, and community development projects, preferably in Dubai.
• Recent substantial experience in community development projects, preferably in Dubai.
• Knowledge of NOC procedures, commissioning, and government authority specifications in Dubai.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong technical knowledge, familiar with standards and codes.
• Proficiency in related computer software.
• Knowledge of construction health, safety, and environment standards.
