Job summary

Chartwell Stoney Creek Retirement Residence is seeking a Cook's Helper to support the preparation and delivery of the resident and guest dining experience, using production checks and standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality for all meals.

You will operate and clean food production equipment, follow all health and safety requirements, and work under strict time constraints while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen is an asset.
• Able to operate related equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read and communicate effectively.
• Organized with time constraints
• High standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Current Safe Food Handler's Certification.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals for residents and guests Meeting dietary needs.
• Operating and cleaning food production equipment and areas.
• Following health and safety standards in a clean, safe environment.
• Washing, cleaning and storing dishes and equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.
