Job summary

Norfolk County’s Norview Lodge in Simcoe, ON, is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support residents’ health with nutritious meals, safe handling, and a clean dining environment. You’ll join a dedicated team and contribute to resident-centered care.

The role offers up to 24 hours per week, with wages of $26.077–$26.873 per hour (2024 rate), and requires Grade 12, Safe Food Handler, and a CFW certificate, with posting Sept 4–21, 2026.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
• Current Safe Food Handler Certificate.
• Certified Food Service Worker Certificate (completed or in progress).
• Experience in long term care dietary services is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety guidelines and regulations.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents.
• Maintain clean dining and kitchen areas and proper food handling.
• Assist as a team member in resident-centered care.
• Orientate new staff and participate in training opportunities.
