A senior care facility in Kelowna is seeking a Resident Care Attendant for a part-time role. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities and provide personal care in a compassionate environment. What you’ll do:

  • Assists residents with activities of daily living and delivers personal care services in a manner that promotes choice, involvement and participation to the greatest degree possible
  • Assists delivery of meals, housekeeping, laundry and therapeutic recreation programs
  • Be resident-centred in your approach and model our values in all your interactions with the public, team members, residents and their families
  • Participates in the delivery of social, recreational and therapeutic programs including group activities, outings and special events

What you’ll need:

  • Graduate of Health Care Assistant program from a college recognized by the Post- Secondary Education Commission
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrates genuine interest and concern for the well-being of seniors
  • Registered with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry
