The Opportunity

The Resident Care Attendant reports to the Executive Director or the Director of Care. They ensure the implementation and evaluation of resident care services in accordance with provincial standards, guidelines, and regulations to maintain the highest standard of care at all times.

What you’ll do
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care, promoting choice, involvement, and participation.
  • Support the delivery of meals, housekeeping, laundry, and therapeutic recreation programs.
  • Model resident-centered care and embody our values in interactions with residents, families, and team members.
  • Participate in social, recreational, and therapeutic programs, including group activities, outings, and events.
What you’ll need
  • Graduate of a recognized Health Care Assistant program.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Genuine interest and concern for seniors' well-being.
  • Registered with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry.

Position Details

Casual position, part-time, with wages at $29.83 per hour. Union membership is a condition of employment. Equity-seeking groups are encouraged to apply.
