Reporting directly to the Client Service Manager, the Health Care Aide (HCA) is an unregulated member of the interprofessional healthcare team who provides ongoing client care. The HCA observes, monitors, and reports on client status/condition, including changes in physical and emotional status. The HCA ensures that changes are reported to the RN and/or LPN.
This position delivers prescribed medications accurately as per policy and procedure, maintaining professional and ethical standards at all times, and performs other related duties as required.
Complex Care – for frail seniors requiring an interdisciplinary team to maintain and improve quality of life in safe, comfortable, and supportive environments. Carewest offers both secured and unsecured units.
