Job summary

University of British Columbia seeks a Residence Front Desk Services Coordinator to manage front desk operations in residences, including security sign-ins for keys, payroll processing, and supervising Front Desk Service Representatives (FDSRs).

Reporting to the Associate Director Residence Life, the role oversees staff training, scheduling, and ongoing service improvements across SHCS residences.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and recommends candidates for hiring under CUPE 116 guidelines.
• Onboard, orient and train new FDSRs; provide ongoing training to maintain standards.
• Manage payroll sheets, time cards and leave forms for FDSRs.
• Oversee safety procedures, incident reporting and safety training.
• Coordinate residence key inventory, mail setup, and essential office duties.
