A community support organization in Kamloops is seeking a Residence Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of homes for children and youth with complex needs. The successful candidate will provide staff supervision, ensure compliance with service plans, and promote a safe care environment aligned with the organization’s values. This role requires strong leadership skills and knowledge of trauma-informed care, along with relevant qualifications and a background in social services.
The Residence Coordinator plays a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of one or more SHSS staffed homes, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care for children and youth with complex needs. The role includes frontline staff supervision, implementation of SHSS Service Plans, coordination of household needs, and support for documentation and licensing compliance. The Residence Coordinator promotes a safe, inclusive, and structured care environment that aligns with Pacific Coast’s values and the SHSS service model.
