Job description

Research Summer Student, Molecular Medicine

Position Description

The Research Summer Student will work closely with the Principal Investigator to carry out data analysis and deep learning model development for projects in molecular modelling and design.

Here's What You'll Get To Do:

  1. Synthesize and curate datasets
  2. Define and implement metrics and test sets
  3. Evaluate existing models and baselines
  4. Implement and evaluate model changes
  5. Present findings in writing and presentations to the Principal Investigator

Here's What You'll Need:

  1. Currently undertaking or just completed an undergraduate degree
  2. Strong analytical and organizational skills
  3. Strong written and spoken communication skills
  4. Experience with python deep learning packages is an asset
  5. Experience with molecular structure data is an asset
  6. An interest in molecular modelling and design

Employment type: 12-week summer research position. Full time; 35 hours per week.
