About The Opportunity

The Research Student Aide will assist the Principal Investigator and/or Research Manager by completing assigned tasks within specified timelines. Responsibilities include supporting study administration, shipping, report generation, and data entry. The role involves working on a project aimed at improving care for frail older adults, under supervision of a Geriatrician and Pharmacist, developing educational modules on appropriate antipsychotic use.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with library services to develop educational materials for healthcare providers.
  • Potential acknowledgment in dissemination products (e.g., conference abstracts, publications).
About You

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have completed grade XII.
  • Are current post-secondary students in undergraduate or college programs.
  • Preferably are students in health professions or related fields.
  • Have experience with medical literature interpretation and critical appraisal.
  • Possess knowledge translation experience (asset).
  • Are familiar with learning management systems (e.g., LMS) (asset).
  • Have knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology (asset).
  • Have research-related experience (asset).
  • Can query databases and generate reports.
  • Are proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Have good email, internet, and fax skills.
  • Are accurate in data entry and able to work independently.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluent in other languages, especially French, is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
