Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$38.16 - $59.15 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: RN Clinical Research
  • Location: Highland Park Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)
  • Hours: 8:30AM-5:00PM
  • Required Travel: Rare, but may occasionally travel to other locations for staff coverage

What you will do:

  • Screen, assess eligibility, and enroll patients in clinical trials
  • Manage patient care within study protocols
  • Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care delivery while adhering to medical research protocols
  • Handle IRB submissions, progress reports, and adverse event reporting for clinical studies

What you will need:

  • License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in Illinois required
  • Education: Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
  • Certification: Complete CITI training, Good Clinical Practice certification, and Financial Conflict of Interest course within first month
  • Experience: Research experience preferred; proficiency in Excel, RedCap desired; excellent interpersonal skills required for outreach and recruitment
