Join us as our Manager, Research & Innovation and be the catalyst who transforms bold concepts into market‑shaping solutions for chronic respiratory conditions.

Why this role rocks

  • Shape strategy and execution. From napkin sketch to development, you’ll guide ideas into reality.
  • Amplify a culture of creativity. You’ll mentor curious engineers and interns, champion design‑thinking practices, and embed experimentation into the team’s DNA.

What you’ll do

  • Spot opportunity. Scan market trends, emerging tech, and unmet customer needs; prioritize high‑impact innovation themes for the business.
  • Ignite ideation. Facilitate collaborative whiteboard jams and structured brainstorming to generate a steady flow of novel concepts.
  • Prove feasibility. Oversee rapid prototyping, simulation, and testing to de‑risk ideas early and secure stakeholder confidence.
  • Drive project momentum. Build integrated plans, remove roadblocks, and keep the project moving.
  • Grow talent. Provide coaching, technical guidance, and career development pathways for engineers, co‑ops, and interns.

What you bring

  • A track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering or product teams to commercialize innovative solutions.
  • Expertise in Stage‑Gate methodologies—and the wisdom to flex the process when breakthroughs demand it.
  • Technical depth—whether in mechanical, electrical, biomedical, or systems engineering—paired with the curiosity to learn new domains fast.
  • Fluency in translating big‑picture strategy into actionable experiments, clear metrics, and compelling storytelling for executives and customers alike.
  • A mentorship mindset: you elevate everyone around you, celebrate wins, and turn setbacks into learning moments.

Why you’ll love working here

  • Innovation playground. Access to cutting‑edge labs, rapid‑prototyping tools, and a healthy budget for experimentation.
  • Impact you can see. Your ideas will improve patient outcomes and redefine standards across the industry.
