Overview

As an R&D Engineer at GreenFox, you will be at the heart of our innovation efforts, working on new product development, design improvements, and performance testing. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize existing product lines and explore new technologies that push the boundaries of what’s possible in windows and doors manufacturing. Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of new windows and door products
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations
  • Conduct material and performance tests to improve product durability, energy efficiency, and sustainability
  • Research and implement new technologies to enhance product features, such as automation, insulation, and eco-friendly materials
  • Develop technical documentation, including design specifications, testing reports, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure GreenFox stays ahead of the competition
  • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues related to product performance or manufacturing processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field
  • Proven experience in R&D, product design, or engineering, preferably in the windows and doors manufacturing sector
  • Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and simulation tools
  • Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and product testing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Asset

Experience in windows and door production is a major asset. If you have hands-on experience in designing, testing, or improving windows and doors, your knowledge of material properties, production methods, and quality control standards will be highly valuable in this role.
