This position will be shared between Dr. Luciana Macedo in the School of Rehabilitation and Dr. Harsha Shanthanna in the Department of Anesthesia. The Research Coordinator is expected to support clinical studies in the field of pain care, including clinical trials, longitudinal studies, implementation trials, and qualitative research.
The Research Coordinator (I) is responsible for implementing, monitoring, refining, analyzing, coordinating, and reporting on several research projects. The incumbent serves as a resource for the development of research protocols and study documentation, and supports study management operations and research management practices.
The posted hiring range represents McMaster's typical hiring range for this position. Actual starting salary will depend on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions.
Individuals with extensive experience, deep specialized expertise, and/or those who can demonstrate exceptional past performance, as applicable, may be hired at a higher rate within the full range, in accordance with the University compensation policies.
