Job description

Compliance Risk and Diligence | Toronto, Canada | 21012043

Research Coordinators in Kroll’s Compliance Risk & Diligence business support the overall research and due diligence process at the company. They will be exposed to due diligence practices used globally to mitigate the impact of fraud and corruption. We value our talent highly and seek candidates with high levels of conscientiousness, integrity, and professionalism.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct extensive internet and media-based research regarding companies and individuals in English and/or additional foreign languages.
  2. Assist in gathering information to enable Kroll clients to assess the status, legitimacy, background, and reputation of subject companies and their main principals.
  3. Review and analyze the gathered information thoroughly, then compile it into concise written summary reports.
  4. Possess a recently completed undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited university in fields such as International Relations/Affairs, Regional Studies, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related areas.
  5. Maintain a major GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  6. Demonstrate strong writing skills, including the ability to summarize information from multiple sources into analytical assessments effectively and efficiently.
  7. Prioritize multiple projects and assignments while meeting tight deadlines.
  8. Fluency or proficiency in a foreign language (written and reading) is highly desirable, especially in languages of Southern/Eastern Europe and Southeast/Northeast Asia.
  9. Be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week consistently.
  10. Participate in in-office events as required.
