The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largestmental health and addiction teaching hospital in Canada, as well as one of the world's leading research centres in its field.Our services are delivered to help transform the lives of people affected by mental illness and addictions. Our goal is to tailor treatment to each individual, providing patient-centered, comprehensive, coordinated care.

Reporting directly to the Research Manager of the Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre, CAMH is seeking a full-time, 12-month contract Research Coordinator to lead and support the coordination of a new multi-year, multi-site research initiative. This initiative aims to support system-level implementation and evaluation of the CC-ACT Program ( www.actforcaregivers.com ), an evidence-based group psychological intervention aimed at supporting the wellbeing of family caregivers of people with neurodevelopmental conditions. The successful candidate will be the central point of contact across local, regional, and national teams and play a pivotal role in knowledge translation, stakeholder engagement, implementation planning, and evaluation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate communications and engagement efforts across 7 local implementation teams.
  • Support regional and national network planning and logistics.
  • Contribute to regional scale-up action plans.
  • Lead development of knowledge translation products (e.g., toolkits, newsletters, updating website).
  • Prepare and manage Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions and surveys (REDCap).
  • Support finance and reporting functions (expenses, contracts, honoraria).
  • Coordinate and manage data systems; contribute to SPSS dataset setup.
  • Liaise with clinicians, researchers, family advisors, and policy makers.
  • Synthesize findings into reports and knowledge products.
  • Contribute to manuscripts, grants, and presentations.

This position is located at 1025 Queen Street West.

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Psychology, Health Policy).
  • 2 years of research coordination experience, preferably with neurodevelopmental disabilities and mental health.
  • Experience with knowledge translation and implementation science.
  • Demonstrated community engagement experience, especially with equity-deserving groups.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficiency in REDCap, Microsoft Office, Canva; familiarity with SPSS, NVivo or R is an asset.
  • Experience preparing REB submissions and administering surveys.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Experience tracking budgets is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) or fluency in another language is an asset.
