Job description

The candidate will have a central role in conducting the laboratory’s genomic studies which are aimed at:

  1. Molecular characterization of etiologies and consequences of clonal hematopoiesis in aging human individuals;
  2. Collaborate on precision medicine projects in hematology-oncology;
  3. Develop and implement novel genomic and bioinformatic technologies.

The candidate will also play an important role in the writing of scientific publications, grant reports, and student supervision.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in molecular biology.
  • Post-doc in genomic/bioinformatics or 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Expertise in performing and analyzing whole exome (WES) and whole genome (WGS) data.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Committed team worker; mobilizing leadership and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • The candidate must demonstrate efficiency, capability of multitasking, and the ability to establish priorities in real-time.

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
