Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and validate new analytical methods for the detection of antibody-based therapeutics.
  • Perform ELISA and MSD testing with high efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyze data, generate pharmacokinetics parameters, and prepare results for internal presentations.
  • Complete study reports and maintain experiment records.
  • Contribute to the design of in vivo pharmacokinetic studies.
  • Oversee sample management, including receipt, organization, and archiving, maintaining complete and accurate records.
  • Assist with method transfer to colleagues and external partners or CROs.
  • Maintain laboratory facilities and equipment in good working order.
  • Conduct activities in accordance with scientific standards, OS&H regulations, and company policies.
  • Adhere to standard procedures for data generation, documentation, and archiving.
  • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date lab or electronic notebook.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Pharmaceutical Science, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant wet lab experience in pharmaceutical or academic research settings.

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with ELISA is required.
  • Experience with GLP and automation is an asset.
  • Experience with cell-based assays and protein analytics, including immunoprecipitation, is an asset.
  • Experience with non-compartmental analysis (NCA) is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to anticipate potential problems and communicate solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Vancouver, BC.
  • Or equivalent education and experience.
