Position summary
The BRIGHT Coaching research project is an online intervention that provides coach facilitated sessions for parent(s) of children who have a suspected developmental delay and are on a waitlist for developmental services. Coaching is meant to support parents while they wait, often for months or years, for services, and to further promote their child’s development, strengthen personal and family resilience, and help the parents better navigate the health care system. Following a randomized controlled trial (RCT) that was conducted in four Canadian provinces, BRIGHT Coaching is now moving into Phase 2 of its work. In Phase 2, the research team will be working with various organizations within each of the four provinces that were involved with the RCT. The goal is to understand implementation barriers and facilitators in an effort to successfully move this program into practice.

General Duties
We are looking for a highly qualified person to work with our team during Phase 2 of the project. This person will work with the site leads at each of the four provinces, with our parent research partners, and the team’s centralized research coordinator. Responsibilities will include:
  1. Organizing and conducting interviews and focus groups
  2. Qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
  3. Manuscript preparation
  4. Development of an implementation plan specific to each province
  5. Other duties, as required
