Job summary

McGill Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is seeking a Research Associate to support a focus group project in health professions education, medical education, and clinical assessment. You will meet with the research team regularly, facilitate focus groups, coordinate data collection and contribute to data analysis.

You will ensure rigorous research practices and assist in the final grant report and knowledge dissemination products; bilingual English/French is an asset; 35-hour week, hourly

Qualifications

• Must have experience with facilitating focus groups.
• Must have experience in qualitative data analysis.
• Familiarity with assessment, measurement, and validity frameworks.
• Experience with funded research projects and focus group methodology is necessary.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary research teams.
• At minimum PhD level training.
• Accuracy and attention to detail; self-motivated and independent work.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
• Bilingualism English/French is an asset.
