A leading research university in Canada seeks a part-time bioinformatics researcher to work on metabolomics and data analysis. Responsibilities include developing workflows and algorithms, maintaining servers, and presenting results. A PhD and coding experience in multiple languages are required. Dr. Jianguo (Jeff) Xia's lab focuses on leveraging bioinformatics, metabolomics, and systems biology to study the effects of biological (e.g., gut microbiome and helminths) and environmental factors on health and disease.
The incumbent will perform duties including, but not limited to:
