The Role

The Peer Research Assistant will work with the Family and Child Health Initiative to support a project on reducing stigma among high school students with T1D through youth-led multimedia tools. The role involves engaging with community members, assisting in research activities, and contributing to report and publication writing.

Responsibilities

• Support research activities, including data collection and analysis
• Assist in developing research tools and protocols

• Contribute to report writing and dissemination

Qualifications

• High school student in Peel region, with or without T1D
• Interest in research, community engagement, and arts-based methods
• Motivated to learn and contribute to team efforts

Location & Work Environment

Remote work with occasional on-site presence in Peel region, with flexibility for work-from-home arrangements, adhering to THP policies.
