The Tanenbaum Centre for Pharmacogenetics Research Program is seeking applications for a full-time, 6-month contract Research Assistant 1. The role involves supporting research in pharmacogenetics and mitochondrial genetics related to psychiatric disorders, including genotyping, data analysis, and report writing.
The position is primarily located at 250 College Street. The candidate should have completed Grade 12 or equivalent, be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently and in a team. Skills in statistical genetics tools like PLINK, R, and bash scripting are required, along with laboratory techniques such as PCR and DNA extraction. Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
