Job summary

Le Sunnybrook Research Institute recherche un Analyste de Recherche à temps plein pour concevoir des outils de santé numérique centrés sur les patients. Research Analyst (SRI) - Evaluative Clinical Sciences - Regular Full-time 2025-14136

Join Sunnybrook Research Institute as a full-time Research Analyst (User-Centered Design Specialist) supporting Dr. Natalie Coburn in designing patient-centered digital health tools. Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and patients on web-based platforms to improve cancer care experiences. Responsibilities include translating clinical objectives into digital experiences through user-centered design, prototyping, usability testing, and iterative development. Contribute to academic publications, grant proposals, and patient engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead user-centered design of web-based tools for cancer patients, care partners, and healthcare providers.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate research objectives into accessible digital experiences.
  3. Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for platform development.
  4. Build and maintain web platforms in Webflow.
  5. Conduct usability testing with stakeholders.
  6. Mentor staff on patient engagement and design practices.
  7. Manage evaluation and improvements of digital tools.
  8. Prepare manuscripts, grant proposals, and reports.
  9. Develop feature backlogs and strategic plans for growth.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Design, Health Sciences, Computer Science, or related fields; advanced UX training is a plus.
  2. At least 3 years’ experience in research, healthcare design, or digital product development, preferably in clinical or academic settings.
  3. Expertise in UX design, user journey mapping, and accessibility standards.
  4. Experience with user interviews, usability testing, stakeholder consultations in healthcare.
  5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and in teams.
