The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada’s largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital and a leading research center. We provide tailored, patient-centered care to help those affected by mental health and substance use challenges.

We are seeking a full-time, 12-month contract Research Analyst to support a 5-year study on youth and adolescents with mental health multimorbidity. The project aims to understand youth mental health trajectories through diverse clinical sampling, standardized data collection, and deep phenotyping, supporting modular clinical trials.

  • The Research Analyst will schedule interviews, recruit and screen participants, lead informed consent, and administer diagnostic interviews, clinical scales, and cognitive tests.
  • Assist with scheduling other visits and accompany participants as needed.
  • Maintain study records, enter data, prepare data for presentations and publications, and perform administrative duties.
  • Support a diverse, collaborative, and compliant workplace environment.
  • This role requires evening and weekend shifts, primarily based at 1001 Queen Street, with travel between sites as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Neuroscience, plus one year of relevant clinical or research experience with youth or families facing mental health challenges.
  • Experience with neuropsychological assessments (e.g., Wechsler, NIH Toolbox), structured diagnostic interviews (e.g., KSADS-5, SCID-5), and clinical rating scales (e.g., RCADS-25).
  • Experience in screening, recruiting, and obtaining informed consent from research participants.
  • Assets include experience with neuroimaging (MRI), specimen handling, and mobile sensing data collection.
  • Proficiency in managing large databases, electronic data capture (e.g., REDCap), and literature review skills.
  • Competence with word processing, PowerPoint, and database software.
  • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
  • Attention to detail, initiative, good judgment, and ability to meet deadlines independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language is an asset.
