Are you passionate about storytelling and content strategy in the group retirement space? Group Retirement Services (GRS) is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic RFP Manager – Content Writer to lead the development and maintenance of our RFP content library. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on crafting compelling narratives, ensuring content accuracy, and supporting business growth through high-quality written materials.

What Will You Do:

  • Own and maintain the RFP content library, ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with evolving GRS offerings.
  • Support overflow RFPs by managing the full proposal lifecycle—from planning and stakeholder coordination to content development and timely submission—while contributing to best practices and finalist meeting preparation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to update and enhance content based on product changes, regulatory updates, and market trends.
  • Implement content governance processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and quality.
  • Draft tailored executive summaries for mid-sized client RFPs, highlighting key differentiators and aligning with client-specific needs.
  • Work closely with sales and business development teams to understand client objectives and craft persuasive messaging.
  • Support the RFP process by contributing to RFP responses, particularly in areas requiring customized content or strategic messaging.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and tools for content creation and RFP support.

What Do You Need to Succeed:

  • Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, tone, and audience engagement.
  • Experience managing content libraries or knowledge bases; familiarity with tools like Loopio and Sharepoint is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills – applies a structured approach to identify and analyze options, including internal and external risks and impacts.
  • Creative problem solver – solution-focused, able to think outside the box to develop sponsor-focused solutions and challenges the status quo.
  • Execution-focused – excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle changing priorities and fluctuating workloads.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of Group Retirement Services operations and offerings. Enrollment in or completion of CEBS would be an asset.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, client-focused messaging.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Smartsheet experience is a plus.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a client-first mindset and a passion for storytelling.

The base salary for this position is between $63,500 - $117,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
