Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent with completed Obstetrics & Gynecology residency.
• Subspecialty Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI).
• FRCSC certification or eligibility.
• Licensure or eligibility with CPSO.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and recurrent pregnancy loss.
• Lead initial consultations and assess patients, reviewing histories.
• Develop individualized investigations and treatment plans (IVF, ICSI, PGT, egg donation, surrogacy).
• Perform ART procedures in on-site facilities (ovarian stimulation, oocyte retrievals, embryo transfers).
• Coordinate with embryologists, andrologists, and nursing staff for high-quality care.
• Adhere to CPSO, Health Canada, CFAS, and related standards; pursue ongoing education.

Job Description / Duties

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and compassionate Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) Specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide top-tier tertiary reproductive care, manage complex fertility cases, and collaborate closely with our advanced laboratory team to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care in reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and recurrent pregnancy loss.
• Conduct initial consultations and assessments for patients referred to the clinic, including review of medical and reproductive histories.
• Recommend appropriate investigations and develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs.
• Formulate and manage fertility treatment plans involving IVF, ICSI, ovarian stimulation, PGT, and third-party reproduction, including egg donation and surrogacy.
• Perform medical and surgical assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures in the clinic’s on-site facilities, including controlled ovarian hyperstimulation, transvaginal oocyte retrievals, and embryo transfers.
• Conduct pelvic ultrasounds, sonohysterograms, and other fertility‑related diagnostic investigations.
• Identify patients who may benefit from complementary or supportive services, including counselling and acupuncture, and facilitate appropriate referrals.
• Collaborate closely with embryologists, andrologists, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to support coordinated, high‑quality patient care.
• Practise medicine in accordance with applicable professional, clinical, and regulatory requirements, including those of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), Health Canada, CFAS, and applicable out‑of‑hospital premises standards.
• Maintain current knowledge and professional competence in reproductive medicine through continuing education and participation in relevant professional associations and conferences, including CFAS, ASRM, and ESHRE.
• Participate in clinical research, academic presentations, teaching opportunities, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives, as applicable.

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with a completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Subspecialty Fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI).
• Certification or eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, procedural skills, and patient communication.
• A strong interest or track record in academic research and teaching is an asset.
