Job description

Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a subspecialist in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The individual will be involved with outpatient clinics in endocrinology and infertility, surgical cases, inpatient attending, and call coverage.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  1. Participate in outpatient clinics, surgical cases, inpatient care, and call coverage.
  2. Engage in departmental educational activities, including teaching medical students and residents, and participating in didactic lectures.
  3. Contribute to academic activities within the Endocrine and Infertility Division.
  4. Serve on departmental committees, subcommittees, and task forces as assigned by the Chair.
  5. Provide consultative services to physicians and allied health providers.
  6. Participate in program development and clinical research.
  7. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
  8. Participate in administrative and committee work supporting the university's clinical and scholarly missions.
  9. Work collegially with other faculty members.

Education:

Required:

  • Terminal Degree: M.D. in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications include completion of a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Candidates for academic ranks must meet the criteria set by UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion.

License/Certification:

Must hold a valid MD license in Wisconsin and be BC/BE in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Work Details:

Full-time, onsite work at a designated campus location. Position is ongoing and renewable. Anticipated start date: April 30, 2022.

Salary:

Negotiable, annual (12 months).

Additional Information:

This position involves access to vulnerable populations and requires passing a caregiver check. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. University sponsorship is not available.
