Job description

I. Job Summary

The Account Success Representative is responsible for developing strong customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty, especially at the beginning of the customer journey with WM. This role will work closely with the sales team and customers to ensure successful onboarding.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct onboarding meetings between Sales Reps and OBC customers
  • Review and verify all customer setup information for accuracy
  • Contact customers prior to delivery to confirm delivery dates
  • Verify container delivery in MAS and review routing to confirm service days
  • Contact customers to confirm receipt of containers and review scheduled service days
  • Follow up after first service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Review invoices with customers, ensuring service levels and charges are correct
  • Conduct transition meetings between OBC and account managers to address future needs and concerns

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory duties.

IV. Qualifications

The following are the requirements necessary to perform the job:

A. Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma/GED with four (4) years of relevant work experience
  • Experience: At least two (2) years in customer service

V. Work Environment

Key points regarding the work environment:

  • Use of motor coordination and finger dexterity (e.g., keyboarding, machine operation)
  • Occasional physical effort handling objects under 30 pounds
  • Rare exposure to occupational risks (cuts, burns, chemicals)
  • Rare exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

None required.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

  • Bilingual in French and English required for Quebec applicants due to frequent interactions

Work Environment

Normal setting is an office environment. Must be available during standard business hours and for non-standard hours in emergencies or after-hours calls with offshore teams.
