CBC News Victoria is looking for experienced multiplatform reporters to work in our newsroom that produces local news and current affairs for CBC’s platforms with a priority on digital, ensuring stories and voices from Vancouver Island communities are reflected in our journalism across digital, radio, social, streaming and TV.
You will put audience needs at the center of your journalism, ensuring your work highlights a broad range of perspectives, experiences and points of view, especially those from people who have been traditionally underrepresented in the media. You will regularly find opportunities to meet new people and expand your network of contacts.
You will ensure that all CBC journalistic standards are met and that our stories are fair, balanced, accurate, thoughtful, immediate and resonate with the communities we serve.
