We are seeking a collaborative and adaptable journalist who easily adjusts to new contexts, platforms, and publishing tools.

The successful candidate will primarily cover breaking news and features in the Montreal bureau of The Canadian Press.

The ideal candidate possesses impeccable journalistic judgment and reports with speed and accuracy. Experience in audio and video production is an asset.

They should have excellent knowledge of Quebec and Canada, and a strong understanding of current affairs, including legal, political, economic, cultural, and international news.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum two years in a newsroom as a reporter or editor.
