  • Research, write, and produce compelling multimedia content for TV, web, and social — from first idea to final cut;
  • Cover breaking news, interview sources, and assess what matters most to diverse and engaged audiences;
  • Stay ahead of current events and national issues, with a strong focus on stories relevant to Indigenous communities;
  • Be a trusted face of our organization — on camera, online, and in the community — while upholding the highest journalistic standards.

Your accomplishments and experience include:

  • A degree/diploma in journalism or related field with proven experience related to journalism;
  • A great on-camera presence, solid judgment, research techniques and the ability to be flexible;
  • A strong ability to articulate and effectively communicate issues relevant to Indigenous communities;
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of broadcast technology;
  • A valid driver’s license and clear driver’s abstract.
