Job description

Store - TOR-BURLINGTON / SOUTH, ON

Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for. Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience. Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store, including maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.

  1. Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
  2. Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
  3. Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  4. Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  5. Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
  6. Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
  7. Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including return/go back process and store recovery
  8. Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
  9. Support shrink and safety programs
  10. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance with laws and standards
  11. Interact respectfully with others; promote a positive image and serve as a role model
  12. Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Move throughout the store
  • Perform bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or equipment

Work environment includes a climate-controlled store, some outdoor work, and a frame shop with glass cutting and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
