Job summary

ACX, part of AutoCanada, is seeking a Repair Technician in Ontario to restore damaged vehicles to their original condition using a range of hand and power tools. You will perform bodywork, assess damage, and ensure alignments meet pre-condition standards.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safe and efficient work, and the ability to work independently or with the team in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses.
• Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes & adherence to processes.
• Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively.
• I-CAR certification training would be considered an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
• 2-3 years of Autobody Technician experience.
• Welding knowledge and training.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform all types of repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform bodywork tasks, applying filler, shaping, forming, sanding, priming, and painting
• Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including body panels, fenders, doors, and bumpers
• Align and fit vehicle components to the original pre-condition
• Inspect vehicles for additional damage
• Assess Frame with Car-O-Liner measurement system
• Clamp down and pull for mash and sway
• Attention to detail, panel dry fit, smooth/clean repair
• Ability to work independently and as part of our team
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $160,000.00 Annually

Your area of focus.

As an Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, automotive repair skills, and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Perform bodywork tasks, applying filler, shaping, forming, sanding, priming, and painting
