Job summary

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is seeking a Repair Technician to maintain and repair rental and guest ski & snowboard equipment on site. You will balance cash, assist guests, and keep the shop tidy while supporting safety and mountain culture.

Ideal candidates bring extensive tuning skills, rental experience, and proficiency with MS Office and POS systems. Weekend and holiday shifts are required in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

  • Extensive ski/snowboard tuning skills.
  • Previous rental experience.
  • Familiarity with tuning tools like base grinders, stone grinders, and ceramic disk edge finishers.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • A passion for mountain culture, skiing/snowboarding, and the resort environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, working effectively with diverse people.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and POS systems.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to handle brief exposure to extreme weather and lift at least 30 pounds.

    • Repair Technician Level 1 - $19.77 - $20.40 per hour.
    • Repair Technician Level 2 - $19.77 - $21.93 per hour.
