BELFOR Property Restoration is looking for a Repair and Restoration Technician to support restoration projects in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality craftsmanship, meeting client and insurance requirements, and ensuring project success. What You’ll Do:

Restoration & Carpentry Services

  • Perform repair and restoration tasks from site preparation to project completion

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and building codes

  • Apply carpentry fundamentals in residential, commercial, and industrial environments

Project Coordination & Communication

  • Identify and address job site challenges, ensuring quality work and adherence to project timelines

  • Maintain professional communication with clients, subcontractors, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders

  • Ensure accurate project documentation and compliance with insurance requirements

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Conduct hazard assessments and maintain organized, hazard-free job sites

  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools, equipment, and PPE

  • Actively participate in safety training and workplace inspections

What You Bring:
  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Proficient in basic math skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Attention to detail and ability to safeguard client property and information

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle per BELFOR’s Auto Policy

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in construction, restoration, or insurance industries

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite

  • Understanding of customer service principles and best practices

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism

Working Conditions:
  • Standard business hours, with occasional evening, on-call, or overtime work as required

  • Requires mobility in tight spaces, sustained physical activity (lifting, walking, kneeling), and working at heights over 5 feet

  • Manual dexterity for carpentry, tool handling, and prolonged physical labor

  • Periodic travel to job sites required
