Qualifications

Your area of focus.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will fill the full-time position as an Estimator/Repair Planner. In this role, you will be responsible for handling moderate to complex physical damage appraisals, assessing damage and completing re-inspections for quality assurance while providing exceptional customer service.

What drives your day-to-day?

  • Examine damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage
  • Complete and submit appraisals to the insurance company for approval and negotiate on proper repair methods and pricing
  • Submit supplements in a timely manner and provides appraisers with all required photos and documentation
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with insurance appraisers
  • Monitors daily productivity of all assignments and corresponding records
  • Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed

What are the must-haves…

  • Minimum of 2 years direct experience either appraising automobile physical damages or working within an image desk role
  • Possess technical knowledge of auto body collision and mechanical repairs
  • Thorough knowledge of Mitchell and Autadex electronic imaging/estimating system
  • Must have a good working knowledge of the collision industry and “DRP” practices/guideline
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide superior customer service
