Job summary

Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. in Grande Prairie, Canada, is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to repair Crown and OEM wellhead equipment.

The role includes dismantling equipment for repair, stamping modifications, and coordinating with Quality Control to meet deadlines. You will work indoors on a day shift with ample overtime opportunities, and you must be mechanically inclined with basic hand and power tools, plus good communication and a strong safety commitment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with related repair, rebuild and/or teardown experience is an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• MS Office or ERP system experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Repair all Crown and OEM wellhead-based equipment.
• Dismantle and prepare equipment for repair.
• Hand in tags to get Work Orders created.
• Re-stamp equipment as modifications are made.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control department to ensure equipment inspections are completed and deadlines are met.
• Inform Supervisor/Lead Hand of any irregularities with orders or equipment.
• Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Repair all Crown and OEM wellhead-based equipment

Qualifications

• High School diploma with related repair, rebuild and/or teardown experience an asset
• Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of hand and power tools
• Forklift and overhead crane experience an asset
• Computer skills using MS Office or ERP system
• Knowledge of Stream-Flo and/or competitors equipment an asset
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good communication (oral and written), organizational, time management and problem solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Work Conditions

• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, with ample overtime opportunities currently available.
• After-hours and on-call availability when required.
• Work is primarily performed indoors.
