Job summary

Brandt Truck & Trailers is seeking a Rental Manager - Transportation for our Nisku location. You will oversee the rental fleet and manage asset life cycle, P&L, and maintenance planning while collaborating with Sales Managers to grow the transportation rental business across Western Canada.

You will lead asset forecasting, contract management, and customer loyalty initiatives, traveling within Western Canada as needed. A strong background in office software and accounting is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required.
• Post-secondary education considered an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient use of Great Plains would be an asset.
• Previous accounting experience is considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
• Goal orientated and driven to exceed targets.
• Ability to continuously learn and adapt to new technology and programs.

Responsibilities

• Asset management from initial purchase through life cycle and liquidation.
• Growth of fleet assets, forecasting seasonal and annual equipment needs.
• P&L on all assets held in the fleet.
• Fleet maintenance planning and costing.
• Transportation and assignment of assets throughout brandt dealer infrastructure.
• Managing contracts and insurance for fleet equipment.
• Work with area Sales Managers and Territory Managers to build the Transportation Rental Business in Western Canada.
• Participate in all sales opportunities and close competitive sales.
• Ensure good relationships with customers and maintain loyalty.
• Travel as needed within Western Canada.

Brandt Truck & Trailers is currently seeking a Rental Manager - Transportation for our Nisku Truck and Trailer location. This position is responsible for the management of all trucks and trailers held in our rental fleet.

What You Will Be Responsible For
