Job description

Express Employment Professionals, Delta, BC is recruiting for a Renewable Gas Operatorat a cutting-edge Landfill Gas-to-Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) plant. This hands-on role focuses on maximizing production while upholding safety and efficiency. You’ll work closely with a team to perform maintenance, troubleshoot systems, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain plant equipment (compressors, flares, gas analyzers, etc.) ensuring safety and compliance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems with remote support as needed.
• Utilize SCADA for proactive operations and ODMS for data tracking.
• Conduct routine maintenance, compliance tasks, and site upkeep (housekeeping, minor repairs).
• Respond promptly to callouts (within 2 hours) and assist with training or travel to other sites.
• Follow and improve company SOPs to optimize plant performance.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 1–5 years of plant operations experience; trade school certification
• Mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred:

• Experience in renewable energy, gas processing, or instrumentation (PLC/VFD).
• RNG familiarity, associate/bachelor’s degree, or root cause analysis training.

• Skilled in multitasking, process optimization, and preventative maintenance strategies.
