We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in South Africa.

Role: Renewable Energy Engineer (Electrical)

Industry: Renewable Energy / Power Generation

Level: Mid to Senior

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng or BSc)
• 5 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, or hybrid systems)
• Proven experience in the design, implementation, and commissioning of renewable energy systems
• Familiar with local grid codes, SANS standards, and renewable energy regulations
• Experience with system modeling tools such as PVSyst, Helioscope, or ETAP
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and energy storage integration
• ECSA registration or eligibility preferred
• Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and technical documentation
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
