Job summary

Fraser Health is seeking a dietitian to provide renal nutrition care within the Renal Program. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and monitor a multiparameter renal diet aimed at improving nutritional status.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a dietetic internship, two years of recent clinical experience, and current registration with the BC College of Health and Care Professionals (eligible for Dietitians of Canada).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a dietetic internship completed.
• Two years of recent clinical experience in general medicine/surgery.
• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC; eligible for Dietitians of Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional status of renal patients and develop multiparameter renal diet plans.
• Monitor adherence and adjust nutrition interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families about renal nutrition and lifestyle considerations.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support client care goals.
